The NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Process Safety Management is aimed at people working in, or moving into, major hazard industries. It covers how process safety differs from personal safety, and how organisations identify, assess and control major accident hazards. This question bank follows the four syllabus elements.
Leadership, culture, competence, indicators, ALARP and management of change.
HAZOP, LOPA, bow-tie, SIL, inherently safer design and human factors.
Containment, isolation, permits, relief systems, asset integrity and alarms.
Fire and explosion behaviour, hazardous areas, protection systems and emergency response.
How this exam practice bank works
Each exam has 40 multiple-choice questions, drawing 10 questions from each of Elements 1 to 4.
Select an answer and you immediately see whether it was right, the correct option, and why it is correct.
A stopwatch runs alongside each exam so you can practise finishing within the real 90-minute allowance.
A score panel at the bottom of every exam shows your mark against the 24 out of 40 pass standard.
